What happens to a generated password?

Short answer: it is generated and stays on this page until you refresh or close it. KeyMint cannot see it or recover it for you.

Generation and display

Passwords and passphrases are generated by the current browser with the Web Crypto API. Character sets, length, count, and results are used only in this page's JavaScript memory, are not sent to MiluLand servers, and are never written to a local workspace. Results appear visibly on screen, so watch for onlookers and screen-recording software on shared devices.

To protect sensitive content, this tool never saves tool inputs as a workspace.

Copying and saving

KeyMint writes a selected result to the system clipboard only after you click Copy or Copy all; it does not read the clipboard. The clipboard is then controlled by your operating system, browser extensions, and other apps. Store a unique password for each account in a trusted password manager rather than relying on this page to keep it.

Display preferences and favorites

The site uses .miluland.com domain cookies to sync language, theme, high-contrast preference, and up to 16 favorite tool IDs across MiluLand sites, with a local compatibility copy on the current site. Favorites contain only tool IDs—never inputs, files, or results—and can be cleared from the MiluLand tool directory or browser settings.

Advertising and third-party requests

This site uses Google AdSense Auto Ads. Google may use cookies or similar technologies under its policies to serve, measure, and personalize ads. KeyMint does not intentionally provide generation settings, passwords, or passphrases to the ad system, although third-party requests may still contain ordinary network information such as IP address, browser details, and access time.
